About
A passionate traveler, she draws lasting influence from the layered beauty of boutique hotels across Asia, Europe, and beyond—spaces defined by intention, artistry, and timelessness. She regularly attends international design fairs and events to stay engaged with emerging ideas and global perspectives. For several years, she contributed her insights to the Design in the Valley column in the Vail Daily.
Nancy Sanford’s distinctive aesthetic sensibility was shaped in her early years growing up in Westchester County, New York. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Boston Museum School at Tufts University and a degree in Interior Design from the Colorado Institute of Art—uniting a deep foundation in fine art with the discipline of professional design.
After a brief chapter in Washington, D.C., Nancy made Colorado her home and established her namesake interior design practice.
Now based in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood, Nancy enjoys daily walks with her Bedlington Terrier, Wyn, and often escapes to the mountains, where nature’s quiet grandeur informs her work.
Each project she undertakes is grounded in a commitment to enduring beauty, thoughtful craftsmanship, and quiet sophistication.
