Hard to believe the four seasons in Vail will celebrate its 6th anniversary this year.  I remember writing about the excitement surrounding it’s opening.  The interior design has aged very well, the patina makes the space feel warmer. 

Reflecting on my previous post, it led me to contemplate the artists who captivated me and left a lasting impact as I transitioned from working with easels to embracing drafting tables. Among those influential figures, Terry Winters stands out prominently. The artwork he created, depicted below, exemplifies the intriguing intersection between art and interior design….

Wow, a spectacular barn door made of glass!  It is hand carved, painted and silver gilded by Glass River Design.  It is also laminated and tempered for safety.

A project, no matter the size, is incomplete without a water feature……

If this scene were to inspire a color palette, it would not necessarily include purple.  Instead, it may inspire a vast range of green playing wonderfully together, as reflected here.
