Came across this in my photo library, it makes me smile.  Interior design with amusing tension.  In real life the space was subtle until it wasn’t… what’s holding what up and how?  

Im currently reflecting on pictures from Japan as inspiration for a landscape/deck design project.  My reasoning for tacking them up on my  board is not for their Asian influence rather a reminder to keep it simple.

  This is an iPhone snapshot of a kitchen in a town home I designed.  I love  the way the onyx backsplash came out.  I had the fabricator install the stone so the veining runs vertically.  

Springtime decorating . I   I look forward to spring colors every year.  For me, its not entirely about being warmed out of the cold, but rather my love for colors perky and fresh. However, come August I will blog of my joy of a rich and dark color palette.  Ahhhh the circle of interior…
