  This is an iPhone snapshot of a kitchen in a town home I designed.  I love  the way the onyx backsplash came out.  I had the fabricator install the stone so the veining runs vertically.

Door and cabinet hardware are the jewelry of a room.   They matter and often not given enough attention when building and remodeling. Shown is door knob no 1590 from Nanz.  So elegant and timeless. .

I was talking with a client today about blackboard paint for her home office in Denver.  The conversation made me think about a fun project I did.  Pictured here is the entrance of a private art studio/foundation office.  I had the staircase wall painted with blackboard paint.
