Interior designer, Jouin Manku outfitted Le bar at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris, with a canopy made from 550 yards of fabric. I especially love the color contrast of brilliant blue with pale purples. Paris has so much design brilliance, it blows me away. Photography by Eric Laignel.

I hear stories about homeowners spending years picking cabinetry, appliances, plumbing… but only minutes on cabinet hardware. That’s a shame, cabinet hardware is the jewelry or accessories of a space – the important component that pulls it all together. Here I used: Rocky Mountain Hardware’s: Brut catch drawer pull, Brut Pendant and Brut knob.
